Located in an area of Scotland rich in mining heritage which supported the local population for generations and as far back as neolithic times.
Copper was known to be extracted at our prospect around 500BC during the Bronze Age to manufacture items such as swords, arrowheads and agricultural implements. Victorian miners followed on from this in the 1800s for roughly 20 years periodically
